About Me
Ty Roberson is an aspiring young actor, and melomaniac from Charlotte, North Carolina. Ty attends Emory & Henry College, where he is studying to earn his BFA in Musical Theatre. Aside from theatre, he enjoys dad-jokes, attending concerts, wrestling, football, and video games. On campus, He serves as a Chair for New Student Experience and the Administrative & Marketing Assistant for the theatre department. Ty's favorite color is pink. Ty is excited to jump into another year of sharing stories, meeting new people, and starting this new chapter of his life.

This summer, Ty will be making his Gretna Theatre debut as one of their 2024 Professional Acting Apprentice. He will be featured in three of their Family Series shows; A Year with Frog and Toad, Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Musical, and Cat and the Hat as well as their Mainstage productions of Burt & Me and Chess In Concert.
Previously, Ty made his regional theatre debut this summer in Illinois at Timberlake Playhouse. During his time in the cornfields, Ty was seen in Grease as Sonny, The Sound of Music as Ensemble/Swing, and 9 to 5 as Dick Burnly.
